Hawks Nest Wines of NZ

Hawks Nest Wines of NZ

Well, we had a super trip down to Chattanooga, Tenn. about 130 miles south of Nashville where my cousin, Mufti, hosted a wine tasting for us in her home this week. Mufti and her husband, John, are sooooo nice and Sandra and I had a wonderful time. She said she expected just a few of her "best friends who like wine" would come since a lot were out of town. Man, was I surprised that over 100 of the nicest people came by. We poured a lot of Hawks Nest Red wine and they all seemed to enjoy it a lot. We met a lot of nice people and many had been to NZ and those who had not either plan to soon or want to come down some time.

Sandra and I stayed overnight and then went to visit the best wine shop in the area the next morning with Mufti who is a good customer there. Riverside Wine and Spirits just by the Tennessee river near downtown Chatt. is a super store owed by Chris Bratcher. We got to visit with Chris and talked a bit about NZ. He hopes to come down to the GodZone one day and we do hope he does as he was a very nice guy. If he comes, we will try to get him to come see the Matakana Valley. Hopefully we will soon have our wine for sale in his store as a lot of Mufti's friends who tasted our wine shop there and are going to go in and ask for our wine. (we hope!!)

Here are a few shots of Mufti by or wine banner and after the event!!! Thanks for the nice event and for hosting us--we will be back when you ask us again!!!!

More soon.
Dr JIm
